Published 28 April 2020 - Updated 12 May 2020
The access to the top of Mont Ventoux will be disrupted in 2020 due to important renovation works in order to develop the site facilitating public access.
Consequently, for security reasons, specific arrangements are in force from April 27 to November 15, 2020 as follow :
On the road D974 between Col des Tempêtes (southern slope) and le Radôme (northern slope), all motorised traffic is strictly forbidden.
Only pedestrians and cyclists will be allowed to cross the pass, who will cross the construction site area with caution.
Vehicles will have easy access to Mont Serein (Ventoux north) from Malaucène and at Chalet Reynard (Ventoux sud) from Bédoin: it is strongly advised to park vehicles at these two site.
The summit remains accessible only by foot or by bicycle while work is in progress.
