The workshop and selling place « 3 Souquets » is situated at the foot of the village of Séguret -one of France's most beautiful villages, and also nicknamed Provence's Bethlehem.
Santon-maker Denis Voeux started his modelling passion thirty years ago and has concentrated on clay ever since. The first character he sculpted was created after his grandfather on his mother's side. Along the years several other characters gathered around the Holy Family and they were all modelled after real people who were special to him through their work or their commitment.
