The ‘Rocher du Midi’, a family walk
Start point Gigondas
From the village, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail this short walk follows paths and steps carved in the rock and offers a panoramic view of the hills and the Mont Ventoux
Distance : 5 km/3,1 miles – Length : 1 hour 45 mins – Ascent : 200 m/656 feet.

The Saracen Tower – Difficulty : Medium
Start point Gigondas
A walk through the vines that will take you up a track to the Saracen tower.
Distance : 12 km/7,46 miles – Length : 4 ½ hours – Ascent : 200 m/656 feet.

The Turk’s Rock
Start point Gigondas
Facing the Rocher du Midi, a path that takes you right up into the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
Distance : 7 km/4,35 feet – Length : 3 hours – Ascent : 300 m/984 feet.

The Tour of the Dentelles
Start point the Saint Christophe Chapel at Lafare
A fairly easy route through the Dentelles at the foot of the Grand Montmirail. A little bit of scrambling and you will reach some fantastic views. Enjoy a pause at the Rocher du Midi at Gigondas.
Distance : 7,5 km (4,66 miles) / Ascent : 300 m (984 feet) / Length : 3 hours

The Saint-Amand Ridge
Start point Suzette
A pretty walk with varied scenery and an unforgettable view of the Saint-Amand Ridge, the three chains of hills of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
Distance : 11 km(6,84 miles) / Length : 3 ½ hours / Ascent : 510 m (1673 feet)

The Courens Plateau
From Beaumes de Venise
Start and Finish : Car park Place du Marché.
A walk of about 2 hours 15 mins around the village.
Distance : 4,9 km (3,04 miles) - Ascent : 190 m (623 feet) – Difficulty : Easy.
Walking shoes/boots recommended.
Climb the south face to reach some exceptional views of the Comtat Venaissin and the Massif des Dentelles de Montmirail.
